Be STRONG in the Lord and the power of His might.

Our family desire is to be like a lamp on a lampstand shining forth for Christ. We pray that we can be a witness to those who don't know the Lord and an encouragement and blessing to those who do. Thank you for visiting the Strong family blog.

Gifts

My friend Amy got me this book for my birthday.  I have been journaling and making a list of all the gifts God freely gives to me.  I have realized through my journal keeping that the things that I complain about are often closely related to the things I am most thankful for.  When I work diligently at my tasks at home and raising my children I am so happy and filled with thanks.  When I am lazy and self-serving with my tasks and children I am so grumpy.  I can live thankfully or I can live grumbling.  I thought I would create a page to share just some of the gifts in my  life.  More to come ...
