Be STRONG in the Lord and the power of His might.

Our family desire is to be like a lamp on a lampstand shining forth for Christ. We pray that we can be a witness to those who don't know the Lord and an encouragement and blessing to those who do. Thank you for visiting the Strong family blog.

No More Space

After blogging for nearly 4 years and 613 posts later, our blog has run out of space to upload pictures.  Rather than paying a monthly fee for more storage I decided to start another blog.  I would love to print this blog and turn it into a family scrapbook someday.  I won't cancel our blog I just won't be adding new posts.  Looking back through the archives and seeing how our family has grown and milestones for the boys is just one of the things we LOVE about our blog.  You can visit our new blog at www.thestrongfam.blogspot.com.  It currently is not set to private so you don't need a password to login.

Graduation Day

Perfect Day!  Thank you everyone for your love, gifts, and encouragement as Kyle worked his way through the MBA program.

Nice View

We are buying this nice view to build our future home.  The papers are signed and we should close by the end of next week.  We have no idea when we will build.  It all depends on when we sell our house and when we will be ready financially.  Until the time is right, we will draw floor plans in our minds and pinch our pennies.  We are already dreaming of opening the windows at night and listening to the quiet as we go to sleep.  Eating dinner outside and enjoying the view.  Going on walks and bike rides around the neighborhood.  Watching the boys grow up in the house that we had built.
The boys were tromping around the property and checking things out with us this week.  The lot is three quarters of an acre with a view of Mission Ridge and a horse pasture below the property.  No one can build below us so it is very private.
The lot is from the stake all the way down to where you see Kyle and my parents and down the hill to the horse barn.  It seems huge even though it is the same size as the lot we live on now.  We are so excited and overwhelmed by God's provision.

Miles Says ...

"M'ere" - Come here
"Putter & Jelly" - Peanut Butter & Jelly
"Fell dround" - Fell down on the ground
"Mama, hold you." - Hold me Mom
"Ewie" - Yucky and Ew

He is talking all the time now and says things that the other boys don't say.  He surprises me sometimes.  He says "no way" which I don't think I have ever heard Maddeck or Evan say.  He asks a lot of questions and when you answer him he normally responds with "huh?" as if he doesn't understand the answer.

Miles is doing awesome with potty training.  He only had one accident yesterday and has stayed dry at night for the past six nights.  I need to come up with another reward besides chocolate chips because he is developing quite the sweet tooth.

We were so blessed to spend our time in Boston with family.  It was so memorable to share it with everyone.  Thank you all for your love, support, and encouragement to our family as Kyle pursued his Master's degree.  It was awesome to be surrounded by family (near and far) as we celebrated Kyle's accomplishment.

Now for the photos (I ran out of space to upload pictures on my Blogger so this is only the first day in Boston) ...
